Andy's unique style makes him a truly entertaining act to experience. In 2008, he was awarded First Place at the Star of Stars Competition of Southern Oregon. He then captured First Prize at the First Annual Breedlove Festival talent competition in
Bend, Oregon.
Casad has shared a stage with The Wailers, Jeff Pevar, The English Beat, and The Mighty Diamonds. Andy released his first CD, "Going My Own Way" in late 2009, accompanied by Rand Le Baron playing piano on a haunting, bittersweet track entitled "My Dirge", in addition to the wonderful and captivating ballad "New Beginnings".
The CD also contains guitar virtuoso and long-time friend Ben Comer on the smooth melodic jazz track, "Proceed with Caution".
In 2010, Andy teamed up with Comer and the fast-flying hands of percussionist James Versteeg for a trio called The Fret Drifters that is not to be missed!
